Hampstead, New Hampshire incorporated in 1749 is located close to the Massachusetts border along state routes 111 and 121. Just off exit 3 on Interstate 93. Population is about 8,700 in 2004. Hampstead operates schools from 1-8, 9-12 are tuitioned to Pinkerton Academy in Derry, NH.
